Privacy Policy — SuiteForge

Last updated 10 October 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Suite Function (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles information when you use SuiteForge — NetSuite Ultimate Toolkit (the “Extension”), a browser extension for Oracle NetSuite account pages.

This page is the privacy policy for the Extension. It does not replace the privacy policy for our website at https://www.suitefunction.com/privacy-policy/.

SuiteForge is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Oracle or NetSuite.

Summary

·We do not operate servers that receive your NetSuite data.
·We do not use third-party analytics or remote telemetry in the Extension.
·We do not sell your information, and we do not use NetSuite page content to build advertising profiles or for credit or lending decisions.
·The Extension runs on https://*.app.netsuite.com/ pages you already have open.
·Settings and shortcuts you save stay in your browser (and, if you use Chrome Sync, in your Google account). They are not sent to Suite Function.
·If you enter a SuiteQL or Restlet address in Options, queries you run are sent only to that address — typically your own NetSuite account.
·When Promotional Banners is enabled, the Extension may fetch a public ads configuration from suitefunction.com and show Suite Function product banners inside SuiteForge panels. That request does not include your NetSuite records or email.

Who we are

Suite Function Website: https://www.suitefunction.com Privacy contact: support@suitefunction.com

We are based in Queensland, Australia.

What this policy covers

This policy covers the SuiteForge browser extension and the settings you save in it.

It does not cover:

·Oracle NetSuite, which has its own privacy policy and terms
·Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or any other browser, including Chrome Sync
·A Restlet, Suitelet, or other URL that you configure in the Extension
·Our marketing website, except where this page links to it

Information the Extension processes

Information we do not collect

Suite Function does not collect, receive, or store:

·your name, email address, or NetSuite login credentials
·your NetSuite account records, field values, scripts, searches, files, or query results
·browsing history outside NetSuite account pages
·analytics, crash reports, or usage statistics from the Extension

We cannot see the NetSuite pages you open. That content is processed in your browser so the Extension can do what you asked it to do.

NetSuite page content (processed on your device)

When you use SuiteForge on a NetSuite account page, the Extension reads and may change the current page in your browser. Depending on the features you turn on, that can include:

·field labels, script IDs, and field values on the record you are viewing
·record, script, workflow, saved-search, and file-cabinet information already available in your NetSuite session
·JSON, CSV, or similar content shown on a NetSuite page
·the account identifier and environment (for example production, sandbox, or release preview) shown in the account badge

Those requests use your existing NetSuite sign-in. We do not ask for, store, or transmit your NetSuite password. We do not send this page content to Suite Function.

Settings you save in the Extension

The Extension stores preferences in your browser so your choices persist:

What is storedWhereExamples
Feature on/off choices and related optionsBrowser sync storage (chrome.storage.sync)which tools are enabled, Meeting Mode, SuiteQL endpoint address you typed
Script ID shortcutsBrowser sync storagescript, deployment, and saved-search IDs you save
Saved SuiteQL queries and query historyBrowser local storage (chrome.storage.local)SQL or search definitions you choose to save
Saved-search favouritesBrowser sync storagesearch IDs you mark as favourites

We do not receive a copy of this data.

If Chrome Sync (or the equivalent sync feature in another Chromium browser) is turned on for your profile, your browser vendor may store and sync sync storage across devices signed in to that browser account. That is controlled by your browser vendor, not by us. Browser local storage stays on that device unless you export it yourself.

You can export or import settings from the Extension’s Options page. An export file stays on your device unless you choose to share it.

Addresses and queries you choose to send

If you enter a SuiteQL Restlet, Suitelet, or query-tool URL in Options, the Extension sends the query or search you run to that URL only, using your browser and your NetSuite session. We do not receive those requests.

Do not point that setting at a service you do not trust. The privacy practices of that destination are governed by that service, not by this policy.

Clipboard

If you use a copy action (for example copy a field ID, JSON, or CSV), the Extension writes that text to your device clipboard. We do not receive clipboard contents.

Promotional banners (optional)

If the Promotional Banners feature is enabled (it is on by default and can be turned off in Options), the Extension may:

·Request a public JSON configuration and related images from https://www.suitefunction.com/ (and https://suitefunction.com/ if used)
·Cache that configuration briefly in browser local storage so panels keep working if the site is temporarily unreachable
·Decide locally whether to show a banner using:
·— the NetSuite account identifier already visible in your session (for example from the hostname)
·— your NetSuite user email, read in-session via SuiteScript (N/runtime) only in your browser — not sent to Suite Function with the ads request
·— optional File Cabinet existence checks (SuiteQL in your NetSuite session) so we can avoid promoting a product you already have installed

If the ads host cannot be reached, the configuration is empty, or no ad applies, the Extension shows nothing — no empty banner bar and no error toast.

Suite Function’s web server may see ordinary web-request metadata for that ads fetch (for example IP address, user agent, and time), the same as when you visit our website. That request does not include your NetSuite records, field values, queries, or email address.

You can disable promotional banners in Options → Promotional Banners.

How we use information

The Extension uses the information above only to provide the features you enable, such as showing field IDs, running a query you requested, remembering your settings, or (when enabled) showing Suite Function product banners in SuiteForge panels.

We do not use Extension data to:

·identify you for our own purposes beyond local banner suppression rules described above
·build advertising profiles from your NetSuite page content
·determine creditworthiness or for lending
·sell, rent, or trade information
·train models or share data with data brokers

Who we share information with

We do not receive your NetSuite page content or settings from the Extension.

The following parties may process information as a result of how you use your browser or NetSuite, not because we upload NetSuite records:

·Oracle NetSuite — when the Extension requests pages or runs queries in your signed-in NetSuite session
·Your browser vendor (for example Google) — if you use browser sync, for items stored in sync storage
·A URL you configure — only if you set a SuiteQL or similar endpoint and then run a query
·Suite Function website hosting — only the optional ads-configuration fetch described above, which does not include NetSuite records or your email

We may disclose information if we are legally required to do so. In practice we do not hold Extension user NetSuite data to disclose.

Permissions

The Extension requests only the browser permissions it needs:

·Storage — save your settings, shortcuts, and a short-lived local cache of the ads configuration
·Scripting and active tab — run tools on the NetSuite tab you are using
·Host access to https://*.app.netsuite.com/* — work on NetSuite account pages
·Host access to https://www.suitefunction.com/* and https://suitefunction.com/* — fetch optional promotional banner configuration and images
·Context menus — add SuiteForge actions to the right-click menu on those pages
·Alarms — schedule light internal tasks in the browser

The Extension does not request access to your browsing history, microphone, camera, location, or identity APIs.

How long information is kept

·Settings and shortcuts remain until you change them, clear the Extension’s storage, or uninstall the Extension.
·If Chrome Sync is on, your browser vendor may keep a copy of sync storage according to its own retention rules. Turning off sync or removing the data from your browser account is done in your browser or Google account settings, not by us.
·Query history and saved queries in local storage stay on that browser profile until you delete them or uninstall the Extension.

To remove Extension data: open the Extension’s Options and clear or reset what you saved, then remove the Extension. If you use Chrome Sync, also review synced extension data in your browser account if you want it removed from other devices.

Security

NetSuite content is handled in your browser session and is not uploaded to us. Settings are stored by the browser’s extension storage.

You are responsible for the security of your device, browser profile, and NetSuite credentials. Do not share an Options export if it contains queries or endpoint addresses you consider confidential.

Children

SuiteForge is a business tool for NetSuite users. It is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

International users

The Extension does not send your NetSuite records or settings to Suite Function in Australia or elsewhere. NetSuite content stays in your browser and your NetSuite account; synced settings stay with your browser vendor if you use browser sync. The optional ads-configuration request to suitefunction.com is described under Promotional banners and does not include NetSuite page content.

Changes to this policy

We will post any update on this page and change the “Last updated” date. If you keep using the Extension after an update, the revised policy applies to that use. If a change would materially alter how we handle information, we will also update the policy link shown on the Chrome Web Store listing.
